Bro C,

ask your buddy which 20c stock regularly shoot 3c a day??
maybe you can try Genting....catch the right wave maybe a couple hundred a day is possible...
there is a common misconception the is only BB.....there are BBs....big/med/small...if you don't do it blindly, everyone has a fair chance.....depending on your fear & greed index...

#18. When any method for selecting stocks becomes popular, then switch to unpopular methods.

As has been suggested in "Maxim 3," too many investors can spoil any share-selection method or any market-timing formula.

So what are the popular and unpopular investment tools now ?

Popular tools - TA, CANSLIM, Average Up, Buy High Sell Higher
Unpopular tools - Buy & Hold, Dividends Investing, Value Investing, Average Down; Buy Low Sell High

Any others ?

Ha Ha .... that means it's going back to the old-fashion way of buying low and selling high, instead of chasing stocks and then trying to sell higher..

Buy high sell higher, only works in a uptrending market, not a trading market, where the movements are quite small say only 3% ...

To continue the discussion on popular and unpopular methods:-

I think everyone is supposedly an "expert" on macroeconomics nowadays.

Everyone seems to be able to see where the economy is heading, which industry is hot and then able to scoop up the right stock in the right industry at the right time :P

Everyone is a stockpicker because it's a stockpicker's market. 8-)

Isn't Cherry picking everyone's forte  The key is in picking the right cherry farm at the right time.
But then it all goes down to the fundamentals of experience, having keen eyes and the company of fellow pickers. As mojo often say : Whatever it takes.

Lena, Lena dear

Are you referring to me?

Luckily I open this thread for the first time and read your compliments, just before rushing out for an appointment with a housing agent.

I am really bodoh, bodoh lah. Always don’t fully understand what others say and sometimes cannot hold back my quest for clarification, thus meekly venture out to ask a few silly questions that annoy people. Sorry to those I irritated.

Lena, I highly respect your views. This is the reason I open this thread today because your name is there.
