Allowing Prosperity By Karen Mehringer

The news is grim…the Gulf Coast oil spill, earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanoes, financial loss, etc. No wonder many of us walk around with a heavy heart, feeling sad, and scared about the future. A pervasive fear consciousness permeates our society.

But, this isn’t the truth of who we are. We were created from God’s source of never-ending love. It is our birthright to be prosperous, to experience abundance…a feeling of fullness, fulfillment, love and joy. At all times, we are able to tap into this Infinite Source. The question is…do we allow ourselves to tap in and receive? Or, do we block the flow of our own prosperity?

There are many ways we block the flow of receiving prosperity. As women, especially, we were taught to put others needs before our own and that giving love is more important than receiving it. This pattern diminishes our vital life force energy and can lead to illness.

In Louise Hay’s book, You Can Heal Your Life, she equates breast problems with “A refusal to nourish the self. Putting everyone else first…” Problems occur when we give without allowing ourselves to receive. We need to be willing to receive in order to give from a place of fullness and overflow.

But, it may be scary for us to receive. Perhaps we feel unworthy of love. Or, perhaps our childhood experiences taught us that love is limited, so we were conditioned to believe in scarcity. As a result, we seek outside of ourselves for prosperity, attempting to fill an empty void, but never find it. And, what we do find is never enough. The act of seeking itself stems from lack. Allowing on the other hand implies that we are already full and open to receiving even more prosperity.

One way to allow prosperity is to consciously set our intentions to receive. For example, I attended a spiritual service last Sunday. In front of hundreds of people, Sandra stood on stage, microphone in hand, with a huge warm smile on her face. Love and joy exuded from her as she belted out beautiful lyrics. Sitting near the front row, I said to myself, “Receive her love. Allow it in.”

Overcome with joy, gratitude welled within me as tears streamed down my face. I allowed myself to fully receive her love. As I stood with the rest of the audience to reciprocate with a standing ovation, even more love flowed in and through me.

When we allow ourselves to receive, our experience is of joy and prosperity. Gratitude for the perfection of our lives fills our hearts and we have even more love to give. Our lives become full and rich. Our joy then spreads creating a ripple effect around the world.

So which of the 8 types are you? :P

Are you a money fool or warrior?

Money coaches can help you identify and change undesirable habits
By Lorna Tan, Senior Correspondent

Many of us are familiar with stories of investors who act blindly on investment advice, only to lose their hard-earned money when their investments turn sour.

And have you wondered why even well-educated people who earn high salaries find themselves buried in debt?

What makes one person financially successful and another fearful of money matters?

The emotional and irrational behaviour of investors has puzzled financial experts.

It was prevalent particularly during last year's financial crisis, when many jittery investors bailed out of their investments after markets headed south.

This despite history showing that they would have been better off just staying invested.

After all, evidence has shown that those who bail out usually miss the market recovery when it happens, as it always does, sooner or later.

Recently, I was invited to attend a one-day money coaching workshop titled Building Your Money Warrior Bootcamp. It aimed to uncover the hidden money beliefs that drive people's behaviour and attitude towards money.

The workshop was conducted by Providend Centre Of Financial Education (http://www.providend-cfe.com), a sister firm of wealth management company Providend.

The programme was developed by the United States-based Money Coaching Institute.

The fee for the one-day workshop is $500. Providend also conducts courses for those who are keen to be certified as money coaches.

This may appeal to executive human resource coaches, therapists and financial advisers.

A three-day workshop followed by 12 weeks of mentoring costs $3,500.

Money coaches help participants identify their money habits and help them to change undesirable behaviour.

During the workshop, I was introduced to eight 'money archetypes'.

Everyone, apparently, falls into several of these archetypes. Past significant money events influence the way we view money, as do the money patterns we have inherited from our parents and those close to us.

The archetypes are:

1) Innocent: Such a person would rather not be responsible for financial decisions or money matters. He takes an ostrich approach to money and seeks safety and security.

2) Victim: This person often blames his financial situation on external factors. He may have been abused or betrayed or he may have suffered some great monetary loss; this character tends to dwell on the past.

3) Warrior: A goal-oriented person who takes charge and is in control; he tends to be successful in business, and is focused and decisive.

4) Martyr: A person who is busy taking care of others' needs, often neglecting his own. He tends to be self-sacrificing and long-suffering and needs to learn to receive.

5) Fool: This person looks for windfalls and tends to take financial shortcuts. He may lack discipline, is often impulsive and can get caught up in the enthusiasm of the moment. He needs to develop patience and slow down his decision-making process.

6) Creator/Artist: Such a person is often on a spiritual or artistic path. He finds the material world difficult to live in and can be financially detached or have a love/hate relationship with money.

7) Tyrant:
This person uses money to manipulate and control people and events. He may not feel at peace with himself and money makes him feel safe. His greatest fear is the loss of control.

8) Magician: The ideal money type. Armed with knowledge of the past, he has made peace with his history and has transformed his life. He feels secure and knows all his needs will always be met.

After taking part in an exercise, I discovered that my dominant archetypes are magician, warrior and creator/artist, while my passive money types are fool, tyrant, martyr and innocent.

Money coach Deborah Price said that my high 'magician' score indicates that I have done a lot of work getting to where I am both financially and mentally.

I tend to be spiritually guided in my actions and am not prone to doing something purely for the financial outcome if it does not feel right.

I am financially balanced, and believe that money is important but that it is not everything or what matters most to me.

Some workshop participants had higher scores for archetypes like 'innocent' and 'fool'.

Although it is desirable to have lower or no scores for some archetypes like 'innocent' and 'victim', having some aspect of 'fool' in us is good as it motivates us to take risks - and all investments come with an element of risk.

Through money coaching, people can begin to change their archetypes over time. As part of the workshop, we were encouraged to work on an action plan to achieve our goals.

So for those of you who are constantly self-sabotaging your financial plans because of your money fears and want to correct your behaviour, this course may be for you.

Still, though the one-day workshop may make you more aware of your money patterns, you need to have the drive and commitment to want to change.

Money and the Law of Attraction Secret – Change Your Vibration Forever!
by Keeks Cunningham

Much has been talked and written about the Law of Attraction. Many people are troubled by money problems at some time in their life. When it comes to Wealth and Money, The Law of Attraction is a powerful life force that works on the simple principle of ‘whatever you think about, you bring about’.

Right now, as you are reading this, The Law of Attraction is at work in your life. It is always at work just like gravity or any other Law of Nature. Simply put, the Law of Attraction can be defined as – “whatever you think about most, manifests in your life”.

The only question is are you attracting what you want? Or are you "attracting by default," bringing what you don’t want into your life over and over again? The Law of Attraction is at work in relationships, careers, health, wealth etc.

You are either a) attracting wealth, or b) attracting poverty. There is no option c.

So, how can you use the Law of Attraction to attract more money into your life? Well, one way is by raising your vibration.

What Do We Mean by Vibration?

What differentiates one form of energy from another is the speed at which it vibrates. You naturally attract what is in harmony with your state of being so if you want to experience something different in your life, you must somehow change the signals you’re putting out. The true, actual signal I’m emitting isn’t a thought. It’s a frequency formed on my beliefs. You can’t hide your state of mind. It’s in everything you say and do.

The good news is, you can change your vibration by changing what you continually think about which will eventual change your beliefs and this will in turn change your actions.

Temporary vs. Permanent Vibration Change

Creating a temporary shift in your vibration is easy, you can do this in seconds…simply raising your head and looking towards the sky will bring out a more uplifted state; playing your favorite song, dancing, taking a cold shower, holding a smile for 30 seconds and so on are all examples of how you can change you state temporarily.

However, this won’t create any sort of lasting change and you return to your old vibration soon afterwards. Therefore, you need to make some permanent, lasting change in order to manifest your desires. Essentially to change your vibration on a more permanent basis requires a deeper level of change in the unconscious mind. Ok, don’t worry this isn’t going to require some kind of brain probe! It’s actually simpler than you may think to tap into the unconscious part of your mind.

Changing Your Vibration...Permanently!

You can achieve lasting change at the unconscious level of the mind through:

1. Relaxation & Visualization

Visualization simply means seeing what you want in your life but seeing it in your mind in the present tense as if it has already happened. To create what you want in your life, in this case money and wealth, you create strong visuals of your wealth and imprint these on the deeper part of your mind.

It’s best to do visualization when you are very relaxed as this enables you to imprint these images better on the deeper part of your mind. So, if you desire more money and wealth in your life you might be visualizing yourself in the house of your dreams, or standing on a huge pile of money or simply looking at a bank statement with a specific quantity of money in it.

However, the real key to successful visualization is connecting with the feelings of having this goal. This is where most people fall down. Feeling like you would feel if you had already achieved that goal is the vital element in successful visualization. Experiencing these feelings, these emotions, as you achieve this goal in your mind becomes the unstoppable catalyst of change in your life.

If you do this visualization exercise for at least 20-30 minutes, every day if you can you will bring about a changed state of mind. This visualization exercise is best done when you are in a relaxed state, often the start or end of each day is a good time to do this.

You must shift the vibration signal you’re emitting so that it’s vibrationally compatible with your goals and desires. Visualization enables you to identify the new vibration or state you want to operate in.

2. Changing Your Environment

We are a product of our environment - physically, mentally, socially, and otherwise. If you want to shift your vibrational pulse, it’s a bad idea to consistently expose yourself to incompatible signals. If you want to experience money and wealth than you must create environment within which this can most easily manifest.

Very simply, it could mean that you switch off the radio and the TV so you no longer listen to negative news about global financial meltdowns. It may mean reducing the amount of time you spend with negative family or friends, and spending more time with productive, positive people. Or it may even mean moving neighborhood.

Making these changes will feel uncomfortable at first, but eventually you’ll start to integrate with your new environment and your own vibrational pattern will soon shift to come into resonance with these new people and places.

There will be someone who comes from a background of poverty who is influenced to strong wanting. And the rockets of desire will shoot, and then they will find a way to find vibrational harmony with their desire.

They will get into this flow in which material things flow into their life at outrageous abundance. And they will feel brief moments of success as it comes, until they are eventually buried by the cumbersomeness of it, and then the next rocket of desire that is born is: "I'm wanting a simpler life."

Manifest Abundance - 3 Things to Help You Manifest Your Desires Now by Penny Weaver

When we think about manifesting abundance or our desires, we think it is not an easy thing to do. The global crisis that we are now facing has made it harder for those who only have enough; and worse for those who are less fortunate.

What you must understand is that if you want to manifest abundance, you must believe in it with your entire multidimensional self (your physical body, mental body, emotional body and spiritual body or Lightbody ).

Manifesting abundance is not a hard thing to do when you know the secret. You may find that there are people who can manifest abundance easily while others cannot. What is the difference? It is the energy within each of us. The energy that you generate must be the same (or aligned) with how much you desire to manifest abundance.

There are three guidelines that you can use to manifest abundance in your life:

First of all, If you want to manifest money then your intention to receive money must be powerful. You may not realize this, but your intention of wanting to receive money right away will set the forces of the universe in motion and they will act on your behalf. You may not feel it right away but if you concentrate on it, there is a change.

Say your intention out loud. Say it with determination and with great conviction. A simple statement such as, "I am receiving money now according to the divine plan" will set things in motion and it will work.

Now that you have decided on your intention, repeat it a number of times. The number of repetitions that you will do depend on how much energy that you want or need to build and the urgency of your need for money. You can set aside certain times of the day to repeat the intention and make this a ritual. Rituals also increase your energies. That will be all up to you. There is no right or wrong way to do it. The important thing is that you must focus on your intention.

Believing is important. When you tell yourself that money is coming to you now, do you really believe it? Or do you feel doubtful? Believing and feeling the results of your manifestation is the crucial part. Even though you do not have any idea on how money is going to come to you, you must put your faith into it. Imagine that money is coming to you even though you do not know how.

Manifesting Money Fast by speedmanifesting with Lori on May 8, 2010 at 1:25 PM

Manifesting money fast is the number one request I get. If you've read my book you'll notice the balance in my manifesting process. Yes, manifesting money is part of the process, but if you have to ask, then maybe it's a different question that you are asking, so I will answer both the direct question and then the unasked question.

1. To manifest money fast - Imagine it with emotion. Picture your wallet full of $20 or $50 notes and FEEL happy and content, or at least relieved. If you need it badly, then imagine it and celebrate that moment of receiving. Be thankful for it in advance. Do this any time you have an immediate need for small amounts of cashflow fast.

2. To manifest money fast any time on a regular basis, the real question behind the question is usually not the money. It is the freedom that you want, isn't it? It is really financial freedom; manifesting money in order to be free to have fun, explore the planet and holiday, give gifts and of course to be free from fear of debt and obligation. So imagine the lifestyle; imagine doing the thing that you want the money for; imagine paying your bills happily, no matter what your current circumstances.

Remember that money is a tool to create. It is like the pipes in your house. Set it up to receive, but unhook from banging on the pipes. When you go about your day, you don't think about the pipes as you shower, wash the dishes or quench your thirst. Appreciate the source of the supply, not the plumbing!

So, to get past a temporary manifesting crisis, use your imagination to call it forward and watch for it. Appreciate it in small amounts as it shows up. Eventually to be a master manifester, make it about the outcome, not the way to get there.
