Just watched some stupid car race crashes on The Discovery Channel.

Where the hell is the government ? How can they allow such stupidity to happen ?

Who in their right mind, would allow so many cars onto a small race track and let them race against each other ?

So angry at these idiots for letting such stupidity to happen...

On Cosmetic Surgery

Just posted the model's death from cosmetic surgery in the "Beware" thread ....

I can understand the need for a burnt victim to undergo cosmetic surgery.

But for a healthy person to have double eyelids, a bigger nose, bigger boobs, to be thinner, to be taller, to have a firmer backside etc ? Why the need to engage in a procedure that can potentially be dangerous to your health ? Can you not go beyond appearance ?

And to inject sheep hormones into your face so that there's no wrinkles ?

Do you know the risks and the side-effects that you may be facing ? Is it worth it ?

On Speedboats Competition:-

Just saw on TV that two guys died in a Speedboat Competition in Dubai. Their speedboat flipped..

Again, it's so shameful of the governments to allow such races with no regard to human life. As long as they generate some tourism business, the loss of a few lives are ok, right ?

I have the same feeling with car races as well...

My apologies to any avid F1 or Speedboat fans out there...

W - I noticed that you have wrote about these "wastes" several times now. I guess with age, all of us mellow down more, with less need for speed and thrill. Added maturity allows us to see the world as it is and everyday's existence as a gift, instead of wasting it on frivolous pursuits like queuing overnight for a iPhone.

I have no problem with people queing up overnight to buy things.

It's the dangerous pursuits that I'm against eg. car races, speedboats, full contact martial arts competition, boxing etc.

i agree that we should not purposely put our lives in danger, just for fun....all of our lives are precious, with no exception...no exception, i repeat...

this is also the reason, i don't do bumgee jumping... or sky diving...of cos, i suspect it's also because i am acrophobic ...wahahahaha

Wastages in the Movie Industry

The recent Zhang Yi Mou movie reminds me of another of his movie, " The Curse of the Golden Flower" ..

In that movie, a lot of yellow chrysanthemums were wasted. Some people would argue that they were necessary for the visual effects for the film. I called it wastages.

And he has other visual effects as well :D

duno about the chrysanthemums ... but the lower picture is quite a "spillage" 8-), which i am assuming you were trying to convey, since there's no signs of any chrysanthemums there ;)
