I am jumping on the bandwagon here.....(just to rub it in a little bit more).

How about the software (eg. OS) that you are using? Apple, Microsoft?
1. Always wait for the setup. NO SETUP; NO TRADE

2. The trend will END but I don't know WHEN.

2) i am curious as to the extend that you are willing to help stop the israel/palestine war ?

1) Dont know about Kep Corp. I dont see their stock going anywhere on it's own merit anyway. The intention is to hurt the pocketbooks of American companies and workers, so that they will sit up and take notice and to reflect on things.

2) What can one person do to stop the war ? Would organizing a campaign to boycott American goods and services really help things ? Not too sure it's going to be that effective anyway. May end up hurting a lot of innocent Americans who are also striving to make ends meet. But it's only the Americans themselves that can pressure their own government to stop the stupidity. So when you hurt their pockets. they may take notice of what their government is doing ( or not doing ) ....

Perhaps the right way, is actually to spend time and energy, praying for peace and a quick resolution to the matter ... And if there are millions of people praying for world peace, maybe these may shift the energy around .........

perhaps this may help W :

The Serenity Prayer

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen.

and....

Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will direct your paths.

Proverbs 3, 5-6

ps : next time, i get into some nervous wreck or extremely upset over why the old man is still around....you remind me, ok... ;)

TOL:-

With the tons of money lost on the S-Chips scandals, has any head rolled?

No? Why not ? Yes? Who ?

Who's responsible ?

SGX ? Because they did not check these companies properly ?

The regulators ? The auditors?

So one group will blame another and nobody is responsible ? Anybody discussed this issue in Parliament yet?

Asian 'trainees' died of overwork in Japan: lawyer

Sixteen Asian workers on training schemes in Japan have died within 12 months of health conditions linked to "overwork," triggering concerns of widespread labour exploitation, a lawyer has said. Japan has strict immigration rules, but some companies, especially in manufacturing, have used a loophole to bring in low-wage foreign workers on "training" schemes under Tokyo's foreign assistance programme.

As concern has grown about abuses under the scheme, a government body announced this month that a record 34 workers from Asia, mainly Chinese nationals, had died in Japan in the financial year to March. The Japan International Training Cooperation Organization, which oversees the nation's training programmes, said 16 trainees had died of heart and brain conditions, five were killed in work accidents and one had committed suicide.

Lawyer Shoichi Ibusuki, a member of a legal group that has represented trainee workers in cases of alleged abuse, said that "such a high rate of fatal heart and brain disease among trainees is just abnormal". "Due to the economic recession, companies are hiring more trainees as cheap labour," Ibusuki told AFP. "I have seen many cases in which they were forced to work nearly 200 hours of overtime a month."

Some 177,000 foreigners -- mainly from China, Indonesia and the Philippines -- were believed to be in Japan as of late 2007 with government training programmes. Many of the trainees work on assembly lines, mainly in the textiles, food processing and machinery sectors, the lawyer said. Japan has one of the world's lowest birth rates, but it has so far rejected allowing large-scale immigration of unskilled workers.

On Bloomberg now..

If Lehman Brothers was actually Lehman Sisters, maybe they would be still around.

If there are more women directors on the board, it's very likely that they would not be afraid to ask more questions and to ensure that there's proper risk-management in place.

I actually agree with the above. Next time, when I make a killing in the stock-market, I will pass 80% of the winnings to my wife. I would be quite assured that the money would be around 10 years from now.

On National Day Parades:-

Have you seen those National Day Parades where the country show off their latest weapons ?

Dont they look like gangsters showing off their tatoos, knives and guns ? "Dont mess with me else I will mess you up !" ..

Instead of being proud of their weapons, they should be ashamed of themselves ..

But this is the human race. We dont know what we are doing most of the time :?

On Sports:-

The human race also spent a lot of time and energy on a thing called sports ..

They would built multi-million dollar stadiums, to have sporting events. It's as if that one second difference in a race is a very big deal in the whole scheme of things ...

And while they spent millions on these stadiums, some of their fellow human beings dont have enough to eat, dont have proper shelter, dont have proper sanitation etc.

===============================

Apologies to any sport fans out there. I can understand that Sports could be very important to you and I also used to be an avid sports fan as well ...
