Tesla (TSLA.US) Crashes 7%; Feb Sales in CN Crumple Near 20%

Tesla's February sales were 60,365 Chinese-made vehicles, down 19% YoY to the lowest level since December 2022.

On the other hand, Tesla cut the prices of some of its models in China in January, and last week introduced new incentives, including an insurance subsidy, in a bid to boost sales.

Tesla’s electric vehicle deliveries were below estimates in the first quarter.

That’s disappointing, given analysts had already cut their outlook.

It delivered 386,810 vehicles, down from 422,875 in Q1 2023.

The shares fell 4.5% in recent trading.
