CAAM Projects CN 2022 Car Sales Vol. to Hike About 3% YoY

China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) projected the sales volume of automobiles in Mainland China for the year of 2022 to hike around 3% YoY to 27 million units.

Weekly: PV Retail Sales Down 6% mom, Up 16% yoy In First Week Of July

China’s PV retail sales were down by 6% mom while growing 16% yoy in the first week
of July, in line with expectations, due to the auto industry’s off-season.

EV sales volume in June broke the record at 571,000 units (+141% yoy/+35% mom).

BYD’s orders on hand spiked from 500,000 units in June to 700,000 units currently, and it expects monthly production volume to reach nearly 300,000 units by end-22.
