The Citadel

The Citadel will be a small planned community of 3,500 – 7,000 families of patriotic Americans who voluntarily choose to live together in accordance with Thomas Jefferson’s ideal of Rightful Liberty: Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others.

In essence, Rightful Liberty means that neighbors keep their noses out of other neighbors’ business, that neighbors live and let live.

Marxists, Socialists, Liberals, and Establishment Republicans may find that living within our Citadel Community is incompatible with their existing ideology and preferred lifestyles.

Our children will be educated instead of indoctrinated.

We intend to purchase at least 2,000 acres, although preferably 3,000 acres for the Citadel Community. A minimum of one square mile will be protected within our wall and towers (640 full acres!). Ideally, up to two full square miles will be protected behind the walls (1,280 acres)!!

Every Patriot selected to live within the Citadel Community will voluntarily agree to follow the footsteps of our Founding Fathers by swearing to one another our lives, our fortunes and our Sacred Honor to defend one another and Liberty against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

All Patriots selected to live within the Citadel Community agree to abide all Constitutional laws, both Federal and State.

The Citadel Community is to be a bastion of Liberty in America.

"We want a society where people are free to make choices, to make mistakes, to be generous and compassionate.

This is what we mean by a moral society; not a society where the state is responsible for everything, and no one is responsible for the state."

TOL:-

Instead of having parades to display our weapons etc. and be proud of it, wouldn't it be better to be proud of our character, virtue, human rights etc ?

Not to mention that the amount of money spent on such parades, which could be better use to take care of the poor, aged and sick.

Isn't it a coincident that the democratic countries do not really have military parades while the non-democratic countries are always so proud of displaying their weapons ?

Utopias, past and present: why Thomas More remains astonishingly radical

What is a perfect society, and what’s the best kind of utopianism? Terry Eagleton looks at future thinking and concludes that our system is run by dreamers who call themselves realists
