Third, He Solidified His Commitment to Get the Money

The final thing that James Carey did was solidified his commitment to get the money by actually writing the amount out on a check to himself and tossing the check to his father's casket.

While these two actions may not seem as significant as the years that he spent working on his acting career, it is likely that they played a large role in influencing his conviction that the money will be forthcoming.

Writing down your goals and objectives makes them real and quantifiable, which has been astounding impact on your subconscious mind and your actions.

So as the final step for creating a plan for manifesting prosperity into your life using the Law of attraction, write down your specific goal and what you did to get in return for it.

TIP: For best results, read your written statement aloud every morning and every night... start this as soon as possible.

Living Like a Billionaire, if Only for a Day By KEVIN ROOSE

I HAVE a major problem: I just glanced at my $45,000 Chopard watch, and it's telling me that my Rolls-Royce may not make it to the airport in time for my private jet flight.

Yes, I know my predicament doesn't register high on the urgency scale. It's not exactly up there with malaria outbreaks in the Congo or street riots in Athens. But it's a serious issue, because my assignment today revolves around that plane ride.

"Step on it, Mike," I instruct my chauffeur, who nods and guides the $350,000 car into the left lane of the West Side Highway.

Let me back up a bit. As a reporter who writes about Wall Street, I spend a fair amount of time around extreme wealth. But my face is often pressed up against the gilded window.

I've never eaten at Per Se, or gone boating on the French Riviera. I live in a pint-size Brooklyn apartment, rarely take cabs and feel like sending Time Warner to The Hague every time my cable bill arrives.

But for the next 24 hours, my goal is to live like a billionaire. I want to experience a brief taste of luxury - the chauffeured cars, the private planes, the V.I.P. access and endless privilege - and then go back to my normal life.

More Americans freezing than sleeping on assets: poll

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Forget the mattress, a quarter of Americans who keep money in their homes are hiding it in their freezers, according to a new survey.

The Marist poll showed that 27 percent of Americans preferred to literally freeze their assets, compared to 11 percent who chose to sleep on their savings.

"One in ten -- 10 percent -- buries their dough in the cookie jar while nine percent leave their loot in some other household location," Marist said in a statement.

Nineteen percent "sock" their cash away and 17 percent said there was no good location in the home to safely hide their saving.

But in every region of the country and among both sexes and all age groups the freezer was the top hiding place.

Marist questioned 1,080 adults across the country in the telephone poll.

Is Canada Creating its own BitCoin? by johnrobb .

The Royal Canadian Mint just announced it is creating its own digital currency.

The project is being called MintChip.

It seems the development of this digital currency is beyond the planning stages, it is well underway.

Jesus & The Money-Changers at the Temple

Since Jesus threw the money-changers out of the temple, society has formed the belief that anything spiritual should not be associated with financial gain.

Jesus: First, let’s talk about the famous incident in the temple when I became angry because they were doing business inside the temple. This is one scripture that is pretty accurately reported.

I was not angry because funds were being exchanged. I was angry for two reasons:

#1. Doing any kind of business inside the temple grounds was distracting to the real reason folks were supposed to be there – to connect with the Divine as they knew how. In short, it was disrespectful and disruptive.

#2. The merchants were selling sacrifices. It was the custom to have a live sacrifice; however it should be carefully considered and chosen with care.

To pick up a sacrifice at the temple door was akin to running down to the local convenience store and picking up junk. There was no heart or thought put into it – as if they could not be bothered. Because the sacrifices were used to feed folks, it needed to be done with honor.

Now, the day of the sacrifice is over but what the merchants were doing was against the custom of the day. Again, it was disrespectful of the laws that were in place at the time.

Because some Holy men and women shut themselves off from the world and achieved great spiritual wisdom, spirituality somehow became associated with poverty.

The mystics who chose this lifestyle did not suffer. It may have appeared that they were suffering and in poverty, yet their physical natures were transcended. These few chose to come and do this work and were equipped for it on every level.

Others tried to explore the spiritual path by taking on poverty and suffering as a way to enlightenment and failed.

Only those who were called to experience this type of lifestyle before incarnation were truly the ones who opened portals and moved energy gates for humanity.

If poverty and suffering were the true path to enlightenment then the homeless would be holding great revival services and healing the multitudes!

Just think… every person on the streets in third world countries would be raising the dead and speaking great words of wisdom. In short, Beloveds, being poor and suffering are absolutely not to be considered a path to spirituality.

If you are in financial distress and you are not happy living like that… it is a sure sign you are not supposed to find enlightenment through the path of lack.

The Eight Rules for Financial Independence By Michael Masterson

1. You can't truly trust anybody but yourself with your money.

2. The harder someone tries to convince you to trust him, the less you should.

3. However good a track record someone has, never believe that he/she can't suddenly start your losing money. In fact, if you are like me, the moment you invest will be the moment his/her track record starts falling apart.

4. All markets rise and fall. Don't ever believe anyone who assures you that they can predict the future.

5. If you don't learn to spend less than you make, you will never have peace of mind.

6. Most of what you buy when your income is above $100,000 is discretionary. Don't fool yourself into thinking you need a big house or a fancy car.

7. In making financial projections for yourself or a business, always create three scenarios: one that shows what things will look like if everything goes as hoped; one that shows what will happen if things are mediocre; and one that shows what will happen if things fall apart.

8. Know that the third scenario is optimistic.

Add these up, and you will come to one inevitable conclusion:

The only way to be truly financially independent is to have multiple streams of income, each one of them sufficient to pay for the lifestyle you want to live.

How to Eliminate Poverty Consciousness and Manifest True Abundance By Jafree Oswald and Margot Zaher

Have you ever wondered how poverty consciousness is created and what you can do to step out of it?

Sometimes it happens that we become overly entangled in the material world and get wrapped up in feeling that we always need more money. This idea of lacking money sends toxic stress chemicals to the brain causing the body to fight or flee for its life.

Anytime we repetitively feel that there is not enough of "this or that", it forms a chemical rut of impoverished thinking in our body-mind which depletes our energy, manifesting vibration, and financial outlook on life. Every time this lacking feeling is regurgitated it creates mini "poverty attacks" in the inner world, which eventually manifest into physically lacking finances on the outer world.

The good news is that this entrapped cyclical experience is only here to give you an experience of what you don’t want, so that you are inspired to one day become clearer on what you really DO want! The enlightening secret is that this pattern is easily shifted by simply refocusing your awareness OFF of neediness and ON to feelings of gratitude and appreciation.

When you put your attention on feelings of acceptance and gratitude for what you do have, you start sending positive expansive feeling based chemicals directly into your brain which are felt throughout your body.

The more frequently these “appreciation chemicals” are produced, the happier you become and the higher your manifesting vibration grows. This vibrational inner shift causes you to physically attract that higher paying job, a huge contract, that wealthy client who loves you, or a sizeable check from that special person in the outer world.

Even though your financial situation may be struggling, impoverished, or absolutely bleak for years, it really does not matter. You can instantly shift into the experience of feeling more abundant and start manifesting abundance!

Simply refocus your attention for 24 hours on deep feelings of appreciation and gratitude. Choose to focus on ANYTHING that you can authentically feel deep gratitude for. We live in an abundant conscious Universe.

With patience, you will soon begin to see these physical manifestations of abundance come your way.

There is an ancient golden secret to breaking out of the prison of poverty consciousness forever that we'd like to share with you. This secret is to ONLY measure your financial abundance based on the quality and quantity of ABUNDANT FEELINGS you are having.

Meaning that your outer wealth is never going to be 100% trustworthy measurement of how abundant you really are. Anything and everything in the outer world will be taken away from you one day. Abundance based on resources from the outer world is illusory, and is a form of impermanent abundance.

The true permanent state of richness only comes from being connected to the divinity within. Appreciating what is here now or the goodies that are coming your way is the fastest path to getting there.

Yes, there are many multi-millionaires in this world who aren’t very appreciative, still don’t FEEL rich and are continuously striving to become wealthy. Even though they have plenty of dough, they are still letting themselves remain entrapped in the realm of poverty consciousness.

Consistent gratitude is the easy track to ending poverty internally and externally. When your abundance is measured by how deeply you FEEL abundant and how often you visit this feeling, then your experience of being rich is truly unstoppable. This is the most direct path to financially magnetizing massive abundance to you in the outer world.
