CNBC has extracted Global Investor's World's Safest Banks list and posted it on their website.
Wow, DBS might be dull and shareholder-value unfriendly, but it's on the list :D :D
The only American bank on the list is BNY Mellon

Our pivot point is at 14.1.

Our preference: the downside prevails as long as 14.1 is resistance.

Alternative scenario: the upside breakout of 14.1 would call for 14.4 and 14.5.

Comment: the RSI is below its neutrality area at 50. The MACD is negative and below its signal line. The configuration is negative. Moreover, the stock is trading under both its 20 and 50 day MA (standing respectively at 14 and 14.2).

Supports and resistances: 14.4 *14.1 **14 13.9 last 13.5 13.4 **13.3 *

SINGAPORE: The Development Bank of Singapore (DBS) officially opened on Monday its S$200 million purpose-built facility, the DBS Asia Hub.

Located at Changi Business park, the facility occupies over 340,000 square feet.

It will house more than 3,000 or over 40 per cent of the bank's Singapore-based staff.

The newly opened facility will accommodate most of the bank's technology, operations and support functions.

DBS Asia Hub is one of the many facilities across Asia that forms part of its regional strategic occupancy plan that was unveiled in 2007.

Last week, the bank began operations at its new DBS Taipei Hub in the Nei Hu Technology Park.
In 2009, DBS Hong Kong also relocated most of its operations to One Island East in Quarry Bay and the Millennium City.
In China, the bank inaugurated the DBS Bank Tower Shanghai in February.

In early 2013, DBS will relocate its headquarters in Shenton Way to the Marina Bay Financial Centre.

DBS is also actively looking for sites for its operations in India and Indonesia.

I notice Gupta is missing big changes to DBS. The T&M team is hiring 200. He is also sending his top team members to appear on CNA TV. I like it.

if i am a business owner, and i hire a new man to run my shop...

i want him to generate more revenue, increase profit margins without service/product compromise... and not be a operational expert...that can left to the 2nd / 3rd tier level staff...

and by the way, i just heard him on CNA.... cannot be any more indian accented ... at least he doesn't try to be a "kay" british ;)

14.6 is our pivot point.

Our preference: as long as 14.6 is resistance expect 13.7.

The configuration is mixed. Moreover, the stock is trading above both its 20 and 50 day MA (standing respectively at 14.05 and 14.18).
