Hi iam802,

Thanks!

The most difficult part is the bottom area, where the faces are. It's difficult because the cardboard that I'm cutting are very thick, which makes it hard to cut. In addition, the pieces I'm cutting are very small (maybe 3mm in breadth for some parts) so it's hard to hold it properly to cut. There's totally no room for mistakes and I've to re-do some parts twice because of wrong cuttings. The female's hair part is the most memorable because in addition to the above problem, the coloured paper used is both glossy and dark brown, which makes the pencil tracing before cutting nearly impossible to see. This means I'm practically going on blind cutting without any markings to guide me.

Still, I'm glad that part is done in the middle of the project, so my level is 'upped' in a sense. After those parts, all the other parts is like a walk in the park, totally no problems at all.

Last pic from me for now:

Here's how the thing shld look like after framing it up. The edges should be covered to have a elongated rectangular shape.

I've framed up the picture and the whole thing looks like this. It looks great!

I did a special post on the project on my blog but I scheduled it to post on the 4th Nov. But I'll let you guys see it first, haha :) It's here:

Recently I did a birthday card for a kid. I've done many cards before but it's probably the first time I used a pen to sketch it out without using any penciling at all. If I did something wrong, I've to correct it as I go along or simply re-do it. A card usually will have its 'line' thrown out in the front page, and the 'catch' on the second page. Since this kid loves the game plants and zombie, I decided to make use of that theme.

Here's the envelope:

The line is thrown here. If you've played the game before, this plant like thing is the pea-shooter. It gives the hint of what is to come on the next page.

So here's the catch

Not too sure if this is under Art.

Exams are over. The kid is really restless moving between the bedroom and living room aimlessly.

I was asked to 'doodle' (anyhow draw) on the paper and the kid will complete the drawing.

As I was studying the chart at that time, the only thing I can think about was to draw a few Ichimoku lines.

From the few lines.... I was shown this..

Talking about completing the picture, I thought of this: http://www.stewpig.com/cool/diy-doodler ... 010/09/28/

Maybe bro802 can try this? :)

Nice link.

Just the other day, my kid tells me that the goal is to be expert in 'doodling'.

I think just the thought of being 'expert in doodling' is pushing the limit of my shallow understanding of art. :(
