Not a bad time to diversify some of the SGD holdings.

( A big country like Australia, can recover from a catastrophe easily :P )

i guess..not many will agree with me if i speculate that USD will weaken against SGD to 1.2 level by the end of 2011?

I concur with this view.

From a currency exchange point of view, spending on a holiday in Australia is almost the same as in US

Since my AUD and EUR have been strong, I was thinking of converting them back to SGD.

However, with the GE just around the corner, I think it may be more prudent to sit on them first until the dust settles. That's because I'm expecting a lot of people to be biting the dust this time :P

I have not seen so much anger on the ground ...

I'm praying for a complete decimation of the ruling party. But if only one GRC gets to go to opposition, I'll choose AMK. Tg pagar was originally preferred but the man is no immortal n it'll jus be a matter of time for him.
And if AMK goes away from peeairpee, the dynasty will be hit the hardest blow, to the father n the son.
One stone falls two beasts..better I think

For me personally, it has never been about anger.

It's abt the helplessness I feel towards our people having close to not having any say abt our future of my country.

With a one ruling party dominating parliament, we might as well change into a monarchy rule. There'll be very little difference to this current political situation.

The enormous high handed draconian rule dictates our lives and livelihood. This is very wrong.

When I was working in the US during the AFC, it was 1.88!!!

USD becomes "pang sai zhua" liao...
