Lectori Salutem Desk by Jeroen Verhoeven is a sheer beauty to look at

I think I’ve never ever seen a stunning desk like the one created by artist and designer Jeroen Verhoeven.

On display at the Blain|Southern gallery in London, the Lectori Salutem Desk by Jeroen Verhoeven looks to be something from a sci-fi world with a magnificent freely flowing form.

The Lectori Salutem is a polished steel desk made using the profiles of two of his studio colleagues - his twin brother Joep Verhoeven and Judith de Graauw.

JP Morgan Releases no limit Palladium Credit Card

The world’s richest individuals can now shop and swipe in style with the new release of the JP Morgan Palladium credit card.

The card is made of palladium—a rare silvery metal that resembles platinum—and 23 karats of gold. The JP Palladium credit card itself is worth a whopping $1,000.

The JP Morgan Palladium credit card offers benefits and features unlike any other credit cards currently on the market.

The typical JP Morgan Palladium cardholder will have an estimated 30 million dollars in savings and can only become a cardholder if he or she belongs to a private bank.

The annual fee to use this new credit card is just short of $600, a price that seems rather small considering that the credit card bears no limit.

See-through plane: Airbus reveals the aircraft of the future

Plane manufacturer Airbus has looked 40 years into the future and unveiled concept designs for the aircraft of 2050.

The company's vision offers a revolution in air travel.

Gone are the regulated class divisions of First, Business and Economy, replaced by personalised zones that offer flexible, tailored levels of relaxation, interactivity and working spaces.

Passengers can choose to travel in the Interactive zone, with a bar and electronic games where they can mingle and socialise. And those wanting quiet and solitude can choose the Relaxation zone.

The fuselage is replaced by a bone-like structure that will allow for panoramic views outside the aircraft.

For nervous flyers wanting to cut themselves off from the window views, or those simply seeking privacy from other passengers, seats would become 'holographic pods' that would shut out the outside world.

Seats could also change in size and shape for the individual passenger.

Entertainment would move well beyond the seatback TV screen, with concepts for the Interactive zone including virtual holographic golf courses or virtual clothes shopping.

Although Airbus engineers are gazing 40 years into the future, some of these developments could be turned into reality and incorporated into plane designs so that passengers reap the benefit of air travel with minimal environmental impact.

“Our research shows that passengers of 2050 will expect a seamless travel experience while also caring for the environment,” Charles Champion, Airbus Executive Vice President Engineering, told London's Daily Telegraph.

“The Airbus Concept Cabin is designed with that in mind, and shows that the journey can be as much a voyage of discovery as the destination.”

Fingerprint security briefcase is ideal for James Bond's next assignment

China Vasion has put together a smart-looking piece of luggage that might suit James Bond on his next assignment to hide a folding sniper’s rifle and some rounds of ammunition here and there.

Featuring Nubuck leather lined with soft suede along with a fingerprint reader that remembers up to 12 different users and 2 administrators and can store 2 different fingerprints for each user.

Supporting 600 scans on a single charge, the fingerprint security briefcase would need occasional charging via USB to keep it functional.

Since fingerprint recognition has moved out of the realm of forensics, it’s better that the technology be brought to a good use and it’s even better to see it integrating in a briefcase than a coffee machine.

The “filthy rich see the world with different eyes” literally got true with this pair of Emerald Sunglasses priced at $200,000. This unique pair of sunglasses has been designed by Shiels jewelers, based in Adelaide, Australia. Shiels managing director Albert Bensimon revealed that this unique eyewear is inspired by the Roman emperor Nero, who is believed to be watching gladiator fights through polished light emerald green gems held up to his eyes.

Reportedly, the emeralds for the lenses in the glasses took five years to source and almost three months to shape, polish and cut.

The emerald sunglasses boasts a precious make with its frame made from 18-carat gold and lined with diamonds, and are worth more than $200,000, which makes them the second world’s most expensive sunglasses after the Dolce & Gabanna DG2027B framed in gold, and priced at $383,609.

Albert Bensimon hints to have already found his potential buyer for his unique sunglasses, in an international star. “There is one international star who would like to get his hands on them, a very well-known person – I won’t say who it is but for him, I might part with them,” he said.

The Emerald sunglasses will put the Bulgari Emerald eyewear to shame, but then not everyone can afford to own these $200,000 sunglasses. The luxurious eyewear will be on show in the Shiels Carillion store window from today until Sunday and will stand protected by security guards around the clock.

Most expensive flip flops

Flip flops are generally not very expensive and are a perfect footwear during summers. The flip flops are a traditional Japanese concept and were introduced to the west in 1950’s. Some flip flops are made of non conventional materials that make them very expensive and exclusive.

For the brand conscious people who are not ready to settle below the world’s most expensive footwear, here is some news and a reason for them to splurge on world’s most expensive flip flops by Chipkos that costs whopping $18,000.

These flip flops are hand painted by a renowned Los Angeles contemporary artist, David Palmer who says “The work is inspired by nature, and language, and the invisible connections between things, I create images that reflect my fascination with an increasingly complex world.”

This one of a kind collector’s piece will protect 100,000 square feet of rain forest land, rare species and natural resources. The work has been appreciated by the eco frinedly people across the globe. The Executive Director of SaveNature.Org, Norm Gershenz stated;

“Like adding land to Yosemite, each sandal purchase expands a Costa Rican national park by one hundred square feet, thereby protecting the habitat, species and resources within that land area in perpetuity.”

The flip flops are adorned by hand-made 6 grams 18 carat solid gold Chipkos’ emblem by Readers Fine Jewelers in Santa Monica and is packed in Mahogany wood and glass display case. The sandals are available in men’s size 8/9 and are inspired from original Indian Kolhapuri style intended to break the change in cliché styles of flip flops. The design is unconventional and can be worn casually with any attire.
