this year, we've been experiencing inflation, if we go by durian prices...

at 汪德福, they are selling a mid sized 苏丹王 for $15/fruit.... last year, for $5, you would have had a sizeable D24, but this year, that price can fetch you a mid-sized one....

i like their setup at 汪德福 ... they have a spacious makan place away from the dusty roadside, free toilet roll paper to cleanup the gooey mess, and FREE cold water from a water drum dispenser.. and of cos, aplenty of durian choices to fit individual budget...

my usual 亚洪 opposite lor 13 is selling their D24 for $10/fruit, no more $5 ones... though there were other neighbouring stalls that still sell $5/fruit, claiming them to be D24, which I highly doubt so, judging from the shape...

I bet you are stuffing yourself with such delicious fruit. Hope the quality is as good as last year.

I probably need to start getting the durians before the season runs out.

Bought two D24 durians to my inlaws place this evening. Yummy! :D

Subsequent to that gelling trip, we tried out the Smith Street hawker ctr stall. Buay pai... They hv moutain cats, d24, super d24... Good spread.

buay tahan, see this fruit... :cry:

i saw some in chinatown here... those thailand grade ones... i stood next to them but zero odour... cannot eat one..

It's Durian season and I'm asking my friends to tell me where to get the best durians.

Received this from my friend, Danny.

At Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam.

2nd roundabout, corner coffeeshop. Central coffee shop, there's a lorry park infront selling durian.

Very nice. They have durian kunyit. Around Rm18/kg
