i agree....geylang is the best place for durians...so many stalls to choose from...competition means better quality for money...

even Luwak coffee, costing up to us500/kg, cannot beat good ol' durians...

Yes, sir; almost forgot to report and only half way through the attack took this photo of Chuk Guok (竹脚）/ Bamboo Leg . On special assignment in KL and got this at RM8 per kg. and it is from Pahang. Flesh is very thick and buttery, colour is light orange, some seed is small.
Taste is very sweet and slight bitter.

wah dao eh.... buay tahan liao RM8/kg...imagine, getting a 3KG fruit for just about S$10.... i heard in KL city, if we buy, sure kana ketok big time one... so, if can, please report GPS coordinates

just by looking at the texture, i can almost smell the fragrance.... feel the delicate texture...and taste the creaminess of these heavenly fruits...
