Very nice book.... tempted to buy it since USD is low now (shopping spree!!)

And I also like Amazon's automated attempt for you to suggest that it should be available on Kindle as well

Hi iam802

I'm glad that you like it. There are many David Carter books that had rave reviews from parents.
Just check them out in Amazon. IMHO, you will see positive results from these books. As an adult, I find that I can draw ideas from them too. You can see IT from my posts here

I also like Sabuda's books. I'm going to get a glass cabinet to display these paper engineering feats.

Kindle cannot deliver the "MAGIC". :!:

Its' the magic that matters. I had just recently bought 3 of Sabuda's titles for a grandniece. She shrieked "Magic" when she opened it. The paper engineering is exquisite. America is a wunderful land of many opportunities. A paper engineer can earn good $$ and many children remember them even when they are grown up. It creates a good cycle, they would in turn buy these books for their children.

Watch this Chinese video of Sabuda's "Peter Pan". Sabuda's books used to be manufactured in Columbia. But they are now produced in China. Apparently, they don't measure up to 100% of the originals.

C'mon in when boredom strikes! (Nov 09 - Mar 10)

Postby financecaptain » Tue Nov 10, 2009 11:17 am

Einstein wrote this quiz last century. He said that 98% of the people in the world cannot solve the quiz. You can be that 2%. Try it. I will disclose answer.

There are 5 houses in 5 different colors
In each house lives a person with a different nationality
These 5 owners drink a certain type of beverage, smoke a certain brand of cigar, and keep a certain pet
No owners have the same pet, smoke the same brand of cigar or drink the same drink.
Here's the question: Who owns the fish?

The Brit lives in a red house
The Swede keeps dogs as pets
The Dane drinks tea
The green house is on the left of the white house
The green house owner drinks coffee
The person who smokes Pall Mall rears birds
The owner of the yellow house smokes Dunhill
The man living in the house right in the middle drinks milk
The Norwegian lives in the first house
The man who smokes Blend lives next door to the one who keeps cats.
The man who keeps horses lives next door to the man who smokes Dunhill
The owner who smokes Blue Master drinks beer
The German smokes Prince
The Norwegian lives next to the blue house
The man who smokes Blend has a neighbor who drinks water
With these 15 clues the problem is solvable.
