maybe ubuntu fails to recognise some file system. why don't you try install ubuntu again without disturbing your xp.

Haha, ubuntu...actually wanted to install it. Just before I started, I had this cow sense in me to check forums for their comments (esp the bad ones) and I decided against it. Why risk something that works for something that I don't need? Hence I didn't and I'm still happy with that. Unbuntu doesn't always crash on pple, just that when it happens, the results can be quite disastrous and adds a lot of frustration..

Good fortune to those who installs it! :)

Hi Papy,
Can you give me the URL for those forums that have bad review on Ubuntu? Just checked with HP and they want 95 bucks just to install back the XP for my tablet

Hi there :) I did it some time ago. I just surfed the net for reviews of ubuntu :)

Here's two for you: http://polishlinux.org/linux/ubuntu/ubu ... al-review/ (read the comments)

Mozilla firefox released a new version - mozilla firefox 3. I say it rocks! There are noticeable new functions (though some of the add-ons and the theme i'm using are not longer working - i say give it some time!)...what are you waiting for? Go upgrade and download if you're still using iE!

Here's my list of add-ons:

- Adblock Plus (ad blocking... but dun use on this site hor... hahaha)
- Chinese Pera-kun (Chinese dictionary)
- Forecast Fox (weather)
- FoxClocks (world clocks)
- FoxyProxy (for switching proxies... used to have some weird problems where some sites couldn't be accessed through the transparent proxies; also useful if you're using your home PC and accessing your company networks which require you to use the company proxies...)
- Gmail Notifier (little notifier to let me know if there's new Gmail messages)
- Google Icon (stick the site's favicons in the Google search results pages)
- Reminderfox - for reminders
- Rikaichan + Japanese-English dictionary for rikaichan + Names Dictionary for rikaichan (Japanese dictionary, etc.)
- Stumbleupon - when you're bored... stumble around for sites recommended by others
- translator - web translation

I used to have IE Tabs also (open pages using IE engine but in the FF browser) but I dropped that because I found I rarely used it, and it crashed the browser at times.

For Themes, I use Azerty III.
