The company will be flushed with cash in 2Q2014 with The Laurels receiving its CSC completion on 28 Mar 2014. There is $106m receivables in the balance sheet. Most probably it will collect most of it in 2Q2014.

one news I like is that they sold 1 unit of biz tech. Their holding cost is $535psf. My guess their selling price is $900psf -$1000psf. Guess they feel that industry units price is too good not to sell even though initially they wanted to keep for rental income. Hopefully they could sell more for my estimate of the full value of the trading properties is more than $40m compare to $28m at cost.

They are still timing their launch of Robin Residences.....guess they want to maximise the profits. Personally I hope that since the company would be flushed with cash in 2Q2014, they would use the cash to buy out the 60% minority shareholders and hence not constrained by the QC rules on Robin Residences.....They should get better value when the MRT line is up

I think one of the options available to him is to privatise the company using the $100m company fund. They own about 40% shares and the remaining 60% which is 240m shares will cost him $135m if he would to make an offer at NTA. The sales of trading office units would make up the difference. I think they are having problem trying to find a good buy with properties at such a roof price. They are even selling their office units because of the high price. Makes no sense that you are selling your office units at a high price yet you buy something else at also a high price. In the end the cash hoard will become a dilemma to the mgmt., If return cash, why not use the cash to delist?

If they delist, then Robin Residences will not be under the QC (Qualification Certificate) rules and I expect Waterwoods at $800psf will reap a net profit of around $50m if all sold at TOP.

Received a notification from SGX that 50 lots of Sing Holdings got borrowed ^^. Strange to short at current price.
