To let you know that it's true that at the last hour or so of Comex, you do get some deals...eg,

Nikon D3000 DSLR - $738 vs $888
Asus i3(213ghz), 2gd ddr3 ram, 320gb hdd - $799 vs $899 and vs $999 on 1st day

after above post, realize comex ends on 5/9 and not 4/9, but it just goes to show that you can get better deals closer to 9pm, and presumably even better bargains on the last day

Dr Paul Volcker is one of few outstanding fundamentalist cited in many books and periodicals for his candid assessment of economic situations. He was the former US Federal Reserve chairman before idiots like Alan Greenspan and Ben Bernanke come into the picture screwing up the system by expanding credits and printing more dollar notes.

Admission is free and seats are limited.
Date is 02 November 2010
Time is 5 till 6.30pm
Venue is at University Cultural Centre Hall, National University of Singapore

The Volcker Rule - a restriction on U.S. banks from making speculative investments, trading, hedge fun ownership by banks. He spoke about the U.S. Bonds and Debts, Finance Engineering, QE2 & Fannie Mae/ Freddie Mac failures etc.

Yes, great that you had met and heard a great American mind :!: I am old and so had been around when Volcker was heading the Fed during the world oil crisis. Would U like to write a very short synopsis of what he said, especially of the future :D . Any points that would help forumers huat :lol:
