L2W, easier if you just link the image, then folks don't have to clickety click. :D

Use the img tags, like this:

Code: Select all
[img]http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2168/2290452463_4e910f541a.jpg[/img]

So your photo will look like this:

EDIT: You can't just put the flickr url here, you'll need to do something like "View Image" or "Copy Image shortcut" etc. to get the actual image URL.

GD,

Great pic. Do you use SLR camera? I am planning to buy one soon, most probably the EOS 40D. Previously I was using Nikon F601 but was stolen when i was in Amsterdam in 1999.

Ok, let me try the img post.

Yum Yum Hiroshima oysters.

No, I use a Canon Powershot A80. :D Had been planning to buy the new EOS 450D, but given I'm not likely to travel this year (or at least not in the foreseeable future), I decided to save my money up. :)

Stolen camera? Jeez, that would absolutely ruin my trip if it happened to me. :(

Ah hehe thank you. :) This was taken a week before Chinese New Year this year at Chinatown - had to go all the way to the top floor of a flat that was undergoing some upgrading works there. I actually went there to shoot the night scenes of people doing their CNY shopping, but that got rained out. Luckily I ended up accidentally finding this scene up the block of flats. :)

There's some seriously good shots there. :)

No, but he took a sabbatical from work and travelled for a couple of years (he's back working now, but travels when he can - just back from a long weekend at Lake Toba). His hope is to cover at least one country in each continent or region in his lifetime, so there's Central America, South America, Africa, Middle East that he's yet to cover. :D

He's done pretty well in some photo competitions in Singapore, as well as the Lonely Planet photo challenges in Flickr (look for the group in Flickr - they have a weekly challenge; winner gets a pick of some travel guides or photo journals I think).
