Some of you have seen this before (think I posted in WS).

Yosakoi performance (mix of modern dance + traditional dancesteps/props + modern/traditional music - watch for the costume changes!) we caught at Hirosaki Park in Japan, Autumn 2007. If you travel to Japan, do try to check the local schedules for such performances. The Yosakoi festivals in Kochi City (where it all started) and the Yosakoi Soran at Sapporo are the biggest ones in Japan.
