Still not too late though, as long as the kid is still interested in or intrigued by Chinese language, Chinese programs or Chinese culture. The moment he/she loses interest or worse still, despises them, is the time when you know it's too late. In the latter case, it's up to the kid to pick it up in future by himself/herself when he/she grows up).
