Some of us might probably be able to associate some of those stuff described with ourselves, our partners or our friends.

When I first heard the second song and saw the lyrics in JC, I was really puzzled by some of the terms he used. Of course, back then there wasn't such a thing called the Internet, so it was a bit hard to find out what the song title and lyrics were trying to convey. Only realized today while posting this (hahahaha) that the 2nd song is actually about a novel of the same title:
