Haha, san Mayday's older album is nicer, the newer one seems to have lost the 'touch'.

Hehe, that's very brave, putting your own recording on the web. I wouldn't dare do it for fear of embarrassing myself.

Is it my speaker or is the recording really "dirty"? I find it hard to listen to because there's a lot of "noise" on the track that distorts the voices / guitar. Do you have the same issue on playback? If not, then it's probably my problem. Hehehe paiseh so blunt.

Was really impressed by 黄舒骏 when he first broke into the scene (think it was '87). His lyrics were often wordy and like essays, but he somehow, managed to blend them in nicely with the score each time.

The first song describes the process of falling in and out of love. Some funny exaggerations there in his lyrics, and also some very good observations too. Some of us might probably be able to associate some of those stuff described with ourselves, our partners or our friends.

When I first heard the second song and saw the lyrics in JC, I was really puzzled by some of the terms he used. Of course, back then there wasn't such a thing called the Internet, so it was a bit hard to find out what the song title and lyrics were trying to convey. Only realized today while posting this (hahahaha) that the 2nd song is actually about a novel of the same title:
