I'm surprised that this clown has survived this long...

Currency traders of the world - you may want to short the GBP, to see what sort of bazooka (or pea shooter) that the UK really has ...

CAMERON: 'TIME SHORT' FOR EUROZONE

David Cameron has urged European leaders to take a big bazooka approach to resolving the eurozone crisis, warning they have just a matter of weeks to avert economic disaster.

I was actually looking at Mothercare. This counter dropped 40% in a day. Yesterday it got back some points but still bloody. UK biz has been bad but the international franchise has hope. A £168m market cap was cheap.

UK House Prices Rise Most Since February Led By South: Rightmove

New sellers' asking prices for U.K. houses increased at the fastest pace in eight months in October, while the gulf in prices between the affluent southern regions and the north widened to an all-time high in the survey history, latest figures from Rightmove showed Monday.

rentals have continued to move up every region in the city of london... the south was traditionally cheaper but the lack of apartments for rent in the north, meant tenants having been streaming to the south.

the south has fewer new developments than the north and the general impression is that the south is dodgier environmentally... however, as some of the 2012 olympic events will be held in the south, the government thru the councils have been sprucing up this area.

Daylight Saving Time (DST) ended on 30Oct2011 at 0200hrs.

This means that Singapore is now accurately GMT +8; ie, we are now 8 hours ahead in Singapore. Every year between March and Oct, due to DST, the time difference is 7, instead of 8 hours.

this posting is made at about 518pm

**********

however, New York will end its DST only on 6Nov2011..

so, casino sessions opening time is not affected as yet.
