do you think the locals/enviromental groups will put the finger on the mining companies??

chancs are they will blame the gahmen for their mismanagement...

many average joes in OZ land can never catch up with the property prices.....whereas some of my friend's relatives(Chinese) are multplying their properties over the past 5 years....these are the earlier migrants....

2/3 years back there was a program that OZ garment share/ownership with new house owner. 40/60.....government pay 40, you pay 60.....later stage you can buy back the 40 from garment.

racisim has its roots due to wage/wealth disparity....

many asian/chinese migrants have done extremely well over there...while their own kangeroos are still grazing on grass and shrubs

Scions of many top Chinese government officials are now owners of the top 3 most expensive houses in Melbourne, Perth etc. This rubs the locals more badly than the early immigrants who really worked hard for their $$.
