Like Uber, Lyft filed confidential paperwork with the Securities & Exchange Commission in
December.

Unlike Uber, Lyft started its roadshow to recruit investors in March and its IPO is reportedly
already oversubscribed.

That means investors have already committed to purchasing more shares then Lyft initially planned to make available.

Right now, the IPO shares are tentatively priced in a range of $62 to $68. A firm price is expected to be set in late March.

Like Uber, Cannacord expects that Lyft will also benefit from "a more rational environment and focus on the rider experience to drive profitable growth."

Lyft is Cannacord's preferred pick in the ride-sharing space, as the firm believe that Lyft's combination of solid rider loyalty initiatives and price increases will bring profitable growth in the coming few years.
