i think at current value will give quite a decent entry point as there is strong support at these levels and the dam did not break beyond 6.5 this year. my average price is 10 and i think there is strong upward momentum in this one.

do remember that they are still ramping up the wind turbine business and at current guidance, most of the numbers are still attributed to the DPG side of the business.

YO GHoney - I got some salt, APWR last night.

Should be a good technical entry.

Q2 earnings report will be expected on 26-August - before market.

they just hired a new PR so hopefully these guys will do a better job in handling the PR affairs of APWR. the previous one was consistently terrible and hence the stock always dropped after reporting their quarters, despite the numbers being excellent and management delivered as they say they would.

Can you tell me what's DPG Acronym?

distributed power generation. thats their core business. to supply stand alone power generators to hard to reach areas within china if conventional means of energy distribution arent able to.

they are like the chinese version of ABB. :roll:

Usually, I'll look to take profits if the underlying moves up too quickly ...

Might come back to APWR before the annual earnings date.

NEW YORK (Market Intellisearch) -- Unusual volume of call contracts was traded today. There were 1,359 call contracts traded compared to the ten day average volume of 445 contracts. On the put side, 70 put contracts exchanged hands. Today's traded Put/Call ratio is 0.05. There were 19.41 calls traded for each put contract.
