Thank Q, sreitinvestor for the update.

These 2 are great investments in resource-rich booming towns:
the Manager intends to use approximately S$116.3 million of the net proceeds from the private placement to repay the Singapore dollar portion of the one-year bridging facility that was used to finance the recent acquisition of Australian properties comprising Novotel Brisbane, Mercure Brisbane, Ibis Brisbane, Mercure Perth and Ibis Perth in 1Q 2010.

RESEARCH ALERT-CIMB ups CDL Hospitality Trusts target to S$2.30

SINGAPORE, Sept 27 (Reuters) - CIMB has raised its target price for Singapore's CDL Hospitality Trusts to S$2.30 from S$2.04 and kept its "outperform" rating.

CIMB has raised its target price for CDL Hospitality to factor in potential acquisitions worth S$300 million for the next two years and lower costs of debt.

The broker said it believes the surge in visitor arrivals to Singapore is an indication of long-term uptrends in Singapore's hotel demand, and acquisitions are possible in the near term for CDL Hospitality.

CDL Hospitality shares rose 2 percent to S$2.08 at 0208 GMT and have gained 18.9 percent so far this year.

In addition, 108 rooms at Orchard Hotel are scheduled to be renovated by the third week of September, while asset enhancement works at the 88 remaining rooms at Novotel Clarke Quay are scheduled to start in late December and be completed by early 2012.

The Brisbane and Perth hotels are doing very brisk biz due to the resource sector boom.
