Cosmosteel Q1 profits dives 71.5% By FELDA CHAY
Piping system components firms Cosmosteel Holdings Ltd saw a sharp plunge in profit for its first quarter on the back of lower sales and higher expenses.
The company said net profit for the three months ended Dec 31 dived 71.5 per cent to $390,000, from $1.4 million over the same period last year.
Revenue fell 4.6 per cent to $18.9 million.
In its financial statement, Cosmosteel said that it will continue to face a 'a challenging business environment' for the current financial year.
