Changtian's Q3 net profit slips 1.2%, to remain profitable in Q4By ANGELA TAN
SINGAPORE - Changtian Plastic & Chemical said its net profit for the third quarter ended Sept 30, 2008 slipped 1.2 per cent to RMB52.68 million (US$7.72 million) compared to a year ago.
Revenue rose 14.2 per cent to RMB181.65 million due to higher average selling price of its products.
Barring unforeseen circumstances, the group expects to remain profitable in the fourth quarter of 2008.
