I dont think he has a fund. However, he did create a Commodity Index called Rogers Commodity Index.

Jim Rogers Doubts the Dollar By Alix Steel

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Jim Rogers, renowned global investor and author, says gold will go higher and the dollar is on its way out.

Rogers, typically a contrarian investor, has always been a buyer of commodities and a gold lover. What will he do now? Can the dollar keep losing value? Can gold really run much higher? What should your portfolio look like right now?

TOL:-

Jim Rogers has been living in Singapore for a few years now. By now, he would have probably investigated a few of the Singaporean companies. However, we have not heard anything from him at all, about any Singaporean companies being in his portfolio.

His story has been around Commodities, China, Taiwan and Sri Lanka. Why no mention of Singaporean Companies ? Is it because he's slowly accumulating or he cant find anything that he likes ? If it's the latter then why I'm spending so much of my time reading up on Singaporean companies ?

If my memories serves me right, he is vested in Singapore Airlines.

Ha Ha ... that's probably one of the last industry that I would be looking at right now. One major swine flu incident and the thing will drop like a rock.

Not to mention that the premium seats are now always quite empty except for the long haul flights. Most companies have already cut Business Class travel for flights that are < 6 hours ..

I guess he may invest on Hyflux & Epure as he is very bullish on China & Water themes.

Best Comment Of The Night

Addressing one audience member’s question, Rogers asked if the young man were an MBA. The questioner admitted to holding an MBA and was promptly told he should swap his MBA for an agriculture degree from Texas A&M.

“You should become a farmer,” Rogers said.

( Can you do that in Singapore anymore ? Maybe go up to Yio Chu Kang or go over to Ubin ? )

Hi Winston

A considerable number of Taiwanese are farmers cum entreprenaurs in China - tea and flowers.
I recalled a small group of Singaporeans are 'farming' in Kampuchea (Cambodia).
