Star Cruises in Manila deal
Star Cruises (0678), the region's largest cruise operator, told the local bourse it will buy a 50 percent stake Manila hotel-casino venture from Alliance Global Group for US$335 million.
The payment will be part of fund to develop a project called New Port City Integrated Resort near Villamor Airbase, Pasay City. The non-game portion will be finished by December 31 next year, the firm said.
