Johnson Electric seeks to double China sales
Automobile components maker Johnson Electric (0179) hopes to double its sales in China next year to US$200 million (HK$1.56 billion), said chairman Patrick Wang Shui-Chung.
Speaking after the company's annual general meeting, Wang said the company will focus on developing more environmentally-friendly products like electric motors for hybrid cars.
It will also focus on expanding its business in emerging markets like Brazil, Russia, India and China and the Middle East, in face of challenges presented by a slowdown in the US automobile industry.
