<Research Report>BofAML Cuts AAC TECH (02018.HK) TP to $130; Faces Competitive Headwinds

Bank of America Merrill Lynch, in its report, expected AAC TECH (02018.HK)'s 2Q revenue to sustain sluggishness of 1Q, as acoustic business came under pressure, coupled with exchange effects, although optical business fared better due to inventory adjustment of customers.

The target price was cut to $130 from $150 with rating Neutral given justifiable valuation.

The research house forecast that the product pricing of AAC TECH will be affected in absence of marked upgrade of optical and acoustic technology for new iPhone.

Competitive headwinds from other emerging markets also impacted the group's margin.
