Non-op losses to grow slightly with both businesses in investment phase

We maintain our Buy on Alibaba.

Our TP of US$91 is based on a weighted average of forward CY16E non-GAAP PER (50% weighting), CY16E EV/EBITDA (30% weighting), and a residual 20% weighting assigned to a DCF-based valuation.

Risks: slower monetization, slower user growth, larger investment

Jack Ma: Baidu-Alibaba-Tencent Might See Big Change in 2-3 Yrs

Alibaba chairman Jack Ma said the internet business has become difficult, and the triumvirate of Baidu, Alibaba and TENCENT (00700.HK), known as BAT, might see big changes in 2-3 years, and whether BAT will still exist in 4-5 years would be a problem.

If he could return to the beginning, he would not enlarge the company's scale that big, nor list the company.

Ma said the operational pressure is big for traditional firms. Some might think Internet firms are having good times, but they have lots of stresses too, saying that the operation of Alibaba is on thin ice every day.
