USD/JPY: 101.832 versus 101.178.

Of course the dollar rebounded on the jobs report.

Still entrenched in the downtrend, however, after bombing lower the prior two weeks, giving up the breakout attempt.

USD/JPY: 101.308 versus 101.864.

Well, the dollar LOOKED as if it was going to try a bounce but Friday certainly looked weaker, stalling at the 10 day EMA.

USD/JPY: 100.21 versus 100.248.

Sold on the week, tried to firm at the early July low.

Did firm, but all it did was stop selling versus start bouncing.

Sharp move higher by the dollar off of the early July low.

USD/JPY: 103.92 versus 103.226.

Dollar is on the recovery, up 5 of 7 sessions off the low.

Broke through the 50 day MA's on the week, extended the gain Friday.

Pretty nifty double bottom off the June/July and August lows.

USD/JPY: 102.685 versus 102.439.

After a massive Tuesday drop, the dollar recovered lost ground back up to the 50 day MA's, but that still keeps it in the downtrend channel.

Unlike versus the euro, dollar was mostly steady versus yen on the week.

USD/JPY: 101.034 versus 101.045.

Dollar broke down hard Wednesday below the 50 day MA's, back into the downtrend.

Overall, however, USD could be bottoming in a 3 month range with a low at 99.50 to 100.
