Good or not depends on its latest quarterly financial numbers. Not marketing campaign - I assume is for deposits.
Housing and car financing are main cash cows of finance company. They are not allowed to do business overseas.
These 2 sectors are being hit the most.
Unless Company needs enough deposits to cushion again current crisis.

Singapura Finance's Q109 net profit falls 42%
By ANGELA TAN

Singapura Finance Ltd on Friday reported a net profit of S$1.9 million for the first quarter ended 30 September 2008, a decline of 42 per cent from a year ago.

Earnings per share fell to 9.76 cents compared to 19.09 cents a year ago.

The weaker performance was due to the higher charges for allowances for loan losses compared to a writeback during the corresponding period last year.

At the same time, gain from sale of investments has dropped by S$0.4 million or 48 per cent from a year ago.

Income before operating expenses for the quarter improved by 8 per cent to S$6.3 million as a result of strong growth in net interest income. Net interest income for the quarter rose by 21 per cent to S$5.7 million driven mainly by lower funding costs.
