Nam Cheong announced that it has secured contracts for four vessels worth approximately USD92m, boosting the current order book to 25 vessels worth MYR1.7bn.

Three of the vessels were platform supply vessels (PSVs) of 3,000dwt each, equipped with Dyanamic Positioning System 2 (DP2).

These vessels were sold to a repeat customer which is a leading oilfield services company based in Asia.

The last vessel is a 200-men Accommodation Work Boat, equipped with DP2 and sold to a new customer, Maridive And Oil Services S.A.E based in North Africa.

Maintain BUY with SGD0.53 TP - Nam Cheong is our Top Pick in the Offshore & Marine sector.

Nam Cheong (Share price: S$0.395, TP: S$0.47)

Offshore support vessel builder continues to benefit from industry upcycle and positive market dynamics in Malaysia.

Its built-to-stock business model, while riskier, has beaten our expectations time and time again.

We believe its shipbuilding margins can potentially surprise on the upside.

Nam Cheong Ltd (NCL SP): Optimism reinforced; reiterate BUY TP SGD0.55

EPS raised by 23-26% over FY15E-16E on positive vessel sales and contract win outlook.

Will benefit disproportionately from a recovering OSV demand cycle due to added support from the robust Malaysian oil and gas market.

Reiterate BUY, TP raised to SGD0.55, pegged to 2.2x FY15E P/B based on Gordon Growth model.
