Hmm, I'm not sure. Their continued share purchase can be a signal of either blind faith or confidence. Either way, they are still a long way from take over percentage.

Food Empire also on that Forbe's list like Armstrong.

.....
Food Empire is one of the only 14 SGX-listed companies to make into
this year’s list. The company recorded an average 3-year ROE of
24% and EPS growth of 31%. Its group revenue has more than
doubled and net profit almost tripled to $22 million over the last five
years.

2. The trend will END but I don't know WHEN.

Food Empire's Q3 net profit up 17%

By ANGELA TAN

Food Empire Holdings Limited on Monday reported net profit for the third quarter ended Sept 30, 2008 rose 17 per cent from a year ago to US$6.33 million due to strong sales.

Revenue was up 41.4 per cent at US$61.56 million.

Sales to Russia rose by 54.4 per cent as it continued to introduce its market leading MacCoffee products into new cities and regions in the country. In Eastern Europe and Central Asia sales rose by 23.7 per cent while in the group's other markets, such as the Middle East and Mongolia, sales were up by 31.5 per cent.

As the global economic outlook now looks dimmer and more volatile, especially in the currencies of the countries that the company operate in, it expects its traditionally strong fourth quarter to be very challenging.

During the first quarter of 2009 the Group's operations and financial performance have been affected by the following:
• The global credit crisis has affected the Group’s distributors in our key markets;
• The devaluation against the US dollar of the currencies in the Group’s three biggest markets - Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan; and
• Poor economic conditions in our key markets resulting in a reduction in consumer demand.
Full details of the Group's financial performance will be disclosed when the Group finalises and announces its unaudited financial results for Q1 FY2009 on 14 May 2009.
