Before I add my itchy Mushroom, can someone teach me how to interpret the above?

I find that itchy is such a summary type of TA that I am missing out on the hard work in building up my basics

So I am hitting the books soon, burn some mid night oil to learn all the basics on TA

Came across this term above bollinger band narrowing, not sure what it means....is this what is happening?

of cos, if you goog for bollinger band, you will find a ton of infor on it..so, i wont try to define the mathematical formula,,, however, bollinger band serves as a visual guide to the volatility of the price. it shd be based on historical volatility... so, if the band widens, then one knows that the price of the underlying has been deviating more from the mean....narrowing BB means, price is less volatile...

as to how one uses BB to trade...there's no exact science to it...but understanding what BB is all about, will offer some clue as to how it could be utilized as a TA tool...

i dont view itchimoku as a summary of TA...it is just one TA..and in fact, i might add that it is quite comprehensive in delivering several important technical information that perhaps no other TA tool is capable of... while i like it's functionality, i dont use it, becos it is too visually challenging for me...too many lines and cloud effect blur and congest my charts, distracting me somewhat...

Ah, I read you loud and clear
Volatility is good for traders point of view right?
Likewise, if look at Singpost, I would presume that the BB should be quite narrow then?
Always learning something new everyday from the seniors here
And I must end of by saying, Itchy Mushroom rox, JDM cars rox!

Anyone monitors this counter?

Somehow i have this feeling that this counter has traits of Raffles Edu...
ie. it is in a niche market (REdu started with Arts Designing Uni which there's no real competition)
- there seems to be room for organized growth. there's not many organised dental competitors. now most people just go to their neighborhood dental clinic, but if there's a trusted brand name, will it be better?
- Q&M started a Dental Centre in City Square - all its smaller clinics can be its feeders for more complicated procedures
- it has already acquire a specialised clinic practise in HK (with guaranteed profits)
- it is looking to acquire and venture into China with organised clinics (which is what Healthway is also doing now)
- it is cash biz. no risk of AR or bad debts. cash generating machine whereby its the suppliers that is providing the cashflow (AP turnover 30days vs AR turnover of 4 days (credit cards?))

Questions
- is there a need for an organised dental clinic group in the market? what value add does it place?
- recent CFO change shortly after IPO doesnt look too nice

After reading abt this ticker in the newspaper, I made a visit to its clinic.

An Indian FT with Australian qualifications attended to me.

He was fluent in English and had excellent bedside manners.

The bill came up to S$120 for scaling, routine flouride treatment etc.

Upon returning home, I inspected my set of teeth and is happy with the treatment.

This ticker sounds like a good small play :D
