BACKGROUND
Incorporated in Singapore on 29 August 1974 under the name of Tonhow Industries Pte Ltd, it became a public company on 26 August 1987. It was engaged in providing moulds and plastic injection moulded parts for manufacturers. In May 1994, its name was changed to AsiaMatrix Ltd.

In January 1995, AsiaMatrix Ltd was acquired by the Wilmont Asia group, a manufacturer in electronics. In 1996, the Group was acquired by AsiaInc Pte Ltd (formerly known as Crandeur Hldgs Pte Ltd).

In 1997, Silver Beads Intl Ltd, a company incorporated in the British Virgin Islands by some local doctors launched a takeover of the Company. The Group moved into the healthcare industry, changing to its present name in 1999. The Group provides ambulatory healthcare services in radiology and diagnostic imaging, ophthalmology, cosmetic surgery and health screens to private patients, employees of corporate clients as well as the medical profession. Through a network of affiliated physicians and surgeons, the Group provides integrated healthcare delivery system.

one of the cheapest Medical stocks ard, last done at 0.050 today, thinking of vesting.

yo, kelvinVP, u r interest'g ...

AsiaMed has v little corporate announcements, e last was a JV bet. an eyecare clinic 3/12 ago. Not v sexy leh.

any rationale for your thoughts? ;)

hehe, i glad ppl find me insteresting, not weird.. haha i might end up as ppl ref as "The Weird Investor"


ok ok, AsiaMed, back to it. yeah you are rite, it has very little company movements.

today buy vol is same as sell vol. the reason i mention this is because of it medical area it is working in. From a marco POV, should our citizens begun to age, medical needs will be a requirement, furthermore but sad, the china earthquake has cause a increase in medical supplies. and this company is part of suppling medical stuff in china.

that my "weird" thoughts. heeh, feel free to shoot me down !

STOCKS NEWS SINGAPORE-AsiaMedic jumps on Myanmar plan

Shares of AsiaMedic Ltd jumped as much as 16 percent, extending gains from the previous week, on traders' interest in the Singapore healthcare firm's plan to expand in Myanmar.

On Monday, AsiaMedic shares were up 8.1 percent at S$0.093 on volume of 14.3 million shares, 4.4 times the average full-day volume traded over the past 30 days. The stock had more than doubled last week.

The company said last week it had been engaging in discussions with prospective business partners to expand its business in Singapore and Myanmar.
