Breadtalk is also part of the consortium led by former Capland retail chief Pua Seck Guan company Perennial Real Estate to revamp Katong Mall and Chinatown Point. They are growing pretty big.

No lah, they bought over Katong Mall from Tuan Sing and part of Chinatown Point from someone (forgot). Going to revamp it. Katong Mall will be the only next big mall in the east coast area after Parkway Parade so I guess it will be pretty good for the residents as well as the investors. Breadtalk will be opening their foodcourt there as well...maybe their Toastbox, Ramen also. :)

Oh yah, it is feature in the edge magazine I think 2 weeks ago.

Yes, Chinatown point bought from CDL. Breadtalk joins most mall operators like REITS, in a win win situation all over, including China. Good business model. Reits include CMA, CMT etc. Breadtalk companies are toast box, food republic, ramen play, din tai fung.
