Golfer at the Dentist‏

A man and his wife walked into a dentist's office.

The man said to the dentist, "Doc, I'm in one hell of a hurry. I have two buddies sitting out in my car
waiting for us to go play golf, so forget about the anesthetic and just pull the tooth and be done with it.

We have a 10:00 A M tee time at the best golf course in town and it's 9:30 already. I don't have time to wait for the anesthetic to work!"

The dentist thought to himself, 'My goodness, this is surely a very brave man asking to have his tooth pulled
without using anything to kill the pain.'

So the dentist asks him, "Which tooth is it sir?"

The man turned to his wife and said, "Open your mouth Honey, and show him!"

Went to hit some balls just now.

And it has been 3 weeks since I hit some balls.

The wood is good but I'm still having problems with the 5 iron.

I then tried a new stance. I put my left foot above my right foot and hit the 5 iron as if I'm hitting a 9 iron.

It works! This more aggresive stance gave me more power and I didnt held back when I hit the ball.

However, I know that this is not the traditional stance to use when you are hitting a 5 iron :?

On Friday, I was trying to decide whether to hit some balls or to wait till today ( Sunday ).

I then decided to go as it was a slow trading day and it was not too hot.

Today, it's raining and I have a lower back pain.

So when you have a chance to do something that u enjoy, just do it. You may not get a chance later...

Went to hit some balls again today. Not too bad. Two days in row :D

However, it's still far from those days where I will hit the balls 4 to 5 days in a week, plus a round during the weekend

Dangerous game ...

Calif. man dies after hit in head with golf ball

Authorities say a man who was hit in the head with a golf ball at a Southern California country club has died.

The San Bernardino County coroner's office said on its website Sunday that 69-year-old Hiroshi Tango of Brea died at a hospital Saturday.

On Oct. 7, Tango was playing golf at Los Serranos Country Club in Chino when he was hit in the head by a ball.

The coroner says he complained of head and neck pain after he was hit and he was taken to Loma Linda University Medical Center, where he "succumbed to his injuries" on Saturday, nine days after he was struck by the stray ball.

Last Friday, the weather was nice and I thought that it was quite a good day to hit some balls. However, I was a bit lazy and told myself that I will do it on Saturday. Then it rained on Saturday and it also rained on Sunday :(

Yesterday, the weather was nice again so I made sure that I did not miss the opportunity. Today, it's nice and sunny again so I'll definitely be hitting some balls again :D

On Friday, I went to hit some balls. My 5 iron was a disaster. Every 7 out of 10 balls was a lousy shot..

And that has been bugging me for the past two days...

Today, I tested some new stuff and it's now 80% consistency with the 5 iron !

My analysis:-
1) I was wearing a long sleeve t-shirt on Friday. Today, I wore a short sleeve T-shirt. Somehow, the long sleeves affected my swing.
2) I was standing too close to the ball. Today, I stand as far back as I can.
3) On Friday, I was hitting the ball slowly. Today, I hit it as hard as I can, imagining that I was swinging a baseball bat.

Ok, next week, I will try my 3 iron, which I have not used for a decade.

Must be something wrong with me. Just hitting a few balls right can make me so happy :D. Tomorrow, I'm going to bet very big in the markets :P
