Create a New World

If you have to create a new world, a new civilization, a new art, everything new, not contaminated by tradition, by fear, by ambitions, if you have to create something anonymous which is yours and mine, a new society, together, in which there is not you and me but an "ourness," must there not be a mind that is completely anonymous, therefore alone?

This implies, does it not, that there must be a revolt against conformity, a revolt against respectability, because the respectable man, is the mediocre man because he wants something, he is dependent on influence for his happiness, on what his neighbor thinks, on what his guru thinks, on what the Bhagavad-Gita or the Upanishads or the Bible or the Christ says.

His mind is never alone. He never walks alone, but he always walks with a companion, the companion of his ideas.

Is it not important to find out, to see, the whole significance of interference, of influence, the establishment of the "me," which is the contradiction of the anonymous?

Seeing the whole of that, does not the question inevitably arise: Is it possible immediately to bring about that state of mind that is not influenced, which cannot be influenced by its own experience or by the experience of others, a mind that is incorruptible, that is alone?

Then only is there a possibility of bringing about a different world, a different culture, a different society in which happiness is possible.

Here, he reveals that this addendum to the Constitution is really a “Bill of Thou Shall Nots” to the government.

An Experiment in Humanity’s Future

In 1975 the Federation of Damanhur was formed in Northern Italy. It’s founder Oberto Airaudi conceived it as a laboratory for the future of humanity, a social and political experiment in the form of an intentional community.

His vision was a social experiment founded on solidarity, spirituality and sharing. There are now 1,000 people in the community, including children born there.

This video is one of seven parts that explores the breathtaking scenery at Damanhur, Voted the “Most Beautiful Community in the World” by Communities Magazine in 2007.

What does the Divine really want, from those who call themselves His devotees?

All the diverse communities across nations should be united. Mankind should become one family.

The world will then become a paradise. If differences are allowed to grow, nations will disintegrate.

Those promoting differences between people, are destroying the love and compassion in human hearts. They are breaking up mankind into fragments. There is no greater sin than this.

What the world needs today, is the redeeming and unifying force of love---love which continually expands and embraces more and more people.

By giving up narrow ideas regarding one's religion, nation or caste, by developing a broad outlook and cultivating the company of the good, you can elevate your life and make it meaningful and satisfying.

Imbibe good thoughts and develop a large-hearted attitude towards all, taking to heart and practicing the wise words of elders.

Do not waste both life and money.

No one connected to Source Energy would ever harm another.

It's an interesting thing: More injustices, more discomfort, and more unhappiness is projected at others under the name of righteousness, under the name of law abiding, under the name of law, and under the name of religion, than all other things put together.

In other words, don't worry about it.

Breaking down Hate

"Take it as a reminder: The enemy is not Arab people or the Muslim religion. The enemy is fanaticism, extremism, intolerance, hate.

The madmen who commandeered those planes don´t represent the followers of Islam any more
than the madmen who blow up abortion clinics represent the followers of Christ."

TOL:-

How do you put in "checks & measures" so that no one individual has the power to declare war, push the button to launch a nuclear bomb etc ?

Democracy ? Free Press ? Two Term Presidencency ? Separation of Power into The Executive, Congress and Judicial ? What else ?

The Iraqi war comes to mind. It was supposed to stop WMD when in fact, there was no WMD in the first place.

Congress was sleeping. The UN was sleeping. ( Do you recalled the nice presentation to the UN by Colin Powell ? ).

And now that George Bush was proven wrong with no WMD found, why hasnt they prosecuted Bush together with Howard and Blair, in the Internation Court of Justice ?

Same reason why our useless CASE will fine the modeling agencies, the maid agencies for colluding to fix prices but not the taxi companies...

Paradise

Just could this be paradise
right here where you are?

Nirvana within you
not somewhere afar?

Tho' some would decry it
and say it can't be

just follow along
if you long to be free.

Your life's what you make it -
your choices each day

the thoughts that you harbor
and words that you say
determine the status
of your life today.

So if you want more
than you think you have now
watch closely your mindset
and you'll find out how

Just live in the present.
Think only the best
about yourself first
and then all the rest

of your brothers and sisters -
you'll find that you're blest
and really in paradise.
It's all in your mind.

Whatever you look for
is just what you'll find.
