one of e pre-market opening $TEVA my favourite stock which I invested since 2+ years ago. It has always been my love for its restructuring debt financing storybook, and still it is wrt. Chloroquinone covid whatever .... a gap up 12% on earnings announcement is time to say goodbye (Andreas Bocelli)

And I divested out of $SGMO @ 8.8 and may come back to it ... Was looking at another cell & gene therapy stock recently the one that caught my eye is $BLCM but am still reading up on it.

Also I will never invest in any COVID related stocks or vaccines play such as $ARCT which announced EDB investment went up so so high ...

If there isn't any maybe I just do a small position in $FLXN non covid play ....

Went and re-vested in $SGMO again tonight after I sold off all my stake in $TEVA .. they probably will announce some nice poster/results during e ASGCT next week.

Congrats on this impressive TEVA trade, Helios!

And I think it is a good idea to stay in SGMO; I am in the market myself for a second package... not in a hurry but indeed, they could announce something next week

Would you mind taking a look at GNPX? Curious what you think about it. I like it. What's the story of FLXN?

Will skip $GNPX .... Because NSLCC was a common play for sustained release to extend half-lives ... So I think nano delivery isn't quite adding weighted value, just another form of formulation & dosing ... But you may want to take reference/ comparable to $HALO for PEG technology ...

Cell and gene therapies companies now have potential for some undercover gems e.g. AAVs engineered capsids or a different way of enhancing AAV delivery to solid tumours ... I'm attending ASGCT next week manning our virtual booth, so may get inspirations. Tomorrow Sunday will spend time to read through posters abstracts etc .... Cheers to you !

$FLXN used to be rumoured on acquisition deal with Sanofi, because the whole team was ex-Sanofi. I used to like it because it isn't speculative play but in the development of bones therapies for the aging markets. This field is so far a distance away from any COVID relations so I thought maybe it is a laggard if the markets recovered, I still have time to buy it.

Hi Helios

OK thanks for your remarks on GNPX. I still believe there is a lot of potential for that stock to run up (or be taken out for Oncoprex by a major).

Thanks in advance for sharing your inspirations and thoughts after/during the ASGCT here on your blog!

By the way, you mention $BLCM on Thursday and on Friday it is up 32%! What's up with that :o
FLXN, will take a look at it, but there is no room left in my portfolio for another biotech name now (AXSM, BNGO, Pharnext, GNPX, SGMO, Innate Pharma and Biocartis at this moment)

$SGMO another best to do intra-trade and scalping in advance of e ASGCT, who cares if it's just ZFN 2.0 and not Crispr-based ... clinical pipelines w buyers are in place ... .. just traded out but maybe will buyback after e Conference is over ..

Review paper "how close we're to a covid vaccine?" Despite all e vectors/ RNA/DNA microRNA advances, I personally prefer inactivated vaccine as it'll be all rounded raising B + T immune responses, recruitment of innate ability (aka. herd immunity) in mass & cross populations. Inactivated vaccine can combine several stains including variants & clades, combine w an oil-in-water adjuvant made (just choose ASO3 or MF49) will be e fastest deployment if not assets are all owned by interest groups ... maybe I'm old-fashioned .... henceforth I made a conscious decision NOT to buy any COVID related vaccines stocks directly ...

Yes I have some Biocartis, not too happy with it as I am losing a bit of money there. :?

And I also have no COVID related vaccine stocks at this moment.
These are the latest candidates:

Still in SGMO. Maybe you choose the right path with that one, by trading in and out, but then you need to time your entries and exits very well...
Could be a lucrative strategy though!
