Wei Xiao Bao... I think under the modified novel by Louis Cha, his ending is not as good as before? Kinda' disappointed that Louis went to revise and change some of his stories - haven't read any of those revised versions...

1) What would you be doing career wise, if you dont have to worry about money ?

2) Where would you visit ?

3) Who would you help ?

4) What sort of lifestyle would you have ?

5) Where would you be living in ?

Comtemplating Winston's advice.
1) Honestly i have no idea on career path. Perhaps my parents didn't ask me what i want to be when i was growing up... Probably financial analyst 4 years down the road. But i knew its subjected to changes....

2) I would probably visit mountains and woods.. away from cities. And see other tribes and their cultures. Would like to go Omaha to see warren buffet in person and see his lifestyle.

3) Sometimes i see ppl seeing tissue paper. Most of the time i didn't partonise them. Does tat make my heart harden and selfish? I did fell prey to an anutie selling tissue paper. She's an excellent sales person preying on my weakness. Found out from my colleague she's not that "needy" as we tot.. My view for helping others lies in providing professional service such as teaching, volunteering and counselling. Not so much on monetary aid. But then again, i'm still with NATO org. No action, talk only.

4) My lifestyle probably won't change significantly except i would travel more. No cars, a fully paid house and some cash in bank. But since i'm rich i knew my sleeping hours will increase exponentially. lol. Jia pa kun. Kun pa jia. My waist line will also increase due to too many carbs.

5) Singapore is my ideal place cos my friends and family is there. Excellent infrastructure .e.g. ERP lol.. and good safety

From your post, you can actually start doing some of the above things, even without having the Sin$1m in the bank.

The trick is to enjoy the journey of life, every minute of it, without thinking too much of the far future.

I started off wanting to have a certain amount of money without enjoying life at all. One fine day, I woke up and realize that many years have passed by. Those precious years cannot be replaced.

So you can only look forward and try to live in the present moment for what is remaining..

If I have jit pa ban (maybe need more), I'll set up a animal shelter for cats. Free food and lodgings for them. Then maybe a chain of restaurants, hiring only those who had records in prison. Will name it 'mafia mess' Okay, the last one is my gf's idea haha

having a small dosage of regrets itself us experiencing life. Wallowing too much in regrets though is depressing n tats certainly no good. We all must hv seen sliding doors, tat if we'd taken a different exit might hv led to a significantly different life, a diffrent present. Until man invents time travel, we will never be able to undo actions or inactions. So really pointless to regret. We chose n so we must accept the associated consequences, for good or for worst. Reminiecing is only useful reminder not to repeat bad decisions.
So do all we want n accept all the butterfly effects. There's always a good reason why we are where we are now
