one reason... last 9 days... price is tight ranged bounded...but overall, the last 9 days' price is encap within an already huge surged before this period ...resulting in this phenomenon...(which is correct....when u see how C peo from 14.50 to 20 in less than 2 weeks in Jul)

Wahlao, like that you also can find. Hahahaha... Ah... because the price gap up, thus we get a big higher high in the past 26 days, causing the Kijun to peak upwards, but price has come down and in the last 9 days, the Tenkan hasn't got any higher high to beat the Kijun.

Hmm. So thinking aloud, I'd say this isn't bullish - it's in a trendless phase (and the conventional TA triangle lends weight to this). However, there's some bullish sentiments in this as evidenced by the cloud projected forward (this one needs another post to explain hahaha).

See this chart to see what I mean - look at the cloud to the right where there's no price:
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=C&p=D& ... listNum=5#

Hmm without looking at the options chains - I'd think volatility now is pretty low?

suppose, i just plot the Senkou A&B, maintain my MA50/200 (which i use to replace tenkan and kijun), ignore chikou (cos i can simply see chart points for R/Ss)....then sui liao hor?

ie...i just wana use Senkou A&B to see price relative to 26days ahead projection....eh sai boh?

Eh, when you say you use Senkou A & B, you mean to use them as what? There are a few uses actually:
- Flat areas = kumo shadows = S/R
- thickness = indication of amount of S/R working against price action
- forward projected cloud colour = current sentiments
- forward projected cloud thickness = volatility (I think I got this one right; glad to be corrected)

As for Chikou, if you don't wish to use it as a confirmation signal, then yeah, you can just use the historical price to help plot your SRs. It's easier with the Chikou though, 'cos it plots the closing price; if you use candles or OHLC (HLC easier) then it might be a bit harder to see.

Chikou's role is still primarily for confirmation of crosses. If you're saying you don't wanna' use the IKH crossovers, but want to rely on the MA crossovers instead cos you find the latter more reliable, then yeah, I suppose you can extract the parts that work for you.

For me, I use IKH and I use trend lines to help make things more visible - and I find that useful for me. Unfortunately, right now, as we're in a bearish market, the bullish crossovers have mostly been under the cloud, so they're considered weak crosses mostly. So, a bit hit and miss right now with my calls hahaha. But downtrend crossovers sui lah - look at AMX from June onwards. :D

For TOS, you can set the chart to shift X number of bars to the left or right... so you shift it you can see liao. The Senkou A and B are projected forward 26 periods, but they're not meant to predict what happens in 26 periods' time - they're meant to show the current mood and volatility.

Then interestingly, 26 periods later, they become the S/R cloud for the price 26 periods later. f**k... getting confusing? Hahaha.

look at AMX from June onwards

AMX....price is entering into cloud zone... no meaning there? just using price-cloud indicator?

maybe a few more upticks and tenkan may upcross kijun liao...and everyone in cloud 9....happy like bird...buy buy buy...hahaha...ok lah...i need to monitor this itchy kinky babe for a while more...

thanks for this online lesson...to 802 as well..
