IMF chief believes world’s economy faces threats which could derail recovery

Leaders need to beware of a number of threats from growing political tensions to increased scepticism about the benefits of globalisation and rising levels of income inequality.


The IMF projected that the global economy will grow 3.6 per cent this year and 3.7 per cent in 2018.
