Hi behappyalways,
I just checked the sgx website and they don't have any of those bonds. Perhaps they are only available to retail investors through banks only.

It's the YTM (yield to maturity) that counts. I don't think he can enjoy a spread of 3%.
Even if it is so, it's too thin to take the risks. Winston is right about what happened during the AFC.
Might as well buy HDB bonds in lots of S$250,000.

FYI

Page 32 of today Sunday Times, there are two F&N Bonds to be issued. 5 year bond 2.48%pa and 7 year bond 3.15%pa. Sold on par and minimum application amount is $5,000. But do be careful as Winston has pointed out several issues to take note of.
