DJ MARKET TALK: Bossini +15.2% But Likely Risky Chasing Higher

1524 [Dow Jones] Bossini (0592.HK) surges 15.2% to 76 HK cents, perhaps as theme punt in HK clothing retailer among last in sector yet to report results.

Follows Moiselle's (0130.HK) 22.2% rally month-to-date, Hang Ten (0448.HK) +30.4%, Le Saunda (0738.HK) +15.8%, Crocodile (0122.HK) +23.2%.

Sector re-rating started with I.T (0999.HK) posting robust results early June, prompting drastic sector re-rating;

I.T last +0.2% at HK$4.23, +220% vs May 31 close. Still, I.T's market positioning toward upscale clothing, not something peers can easily match.

Bossini's 1H results due Sept. 21; stock now trades at 24.1X historic P/E -- if results disappoint, potentially could drag shares down.

Was very tempted to buy a Call yesterday on China Mobile. However, I then noticed a lot of people has already bought Calls on China Mobile. The trade was too obvious and my gut feel told me to be careful as they may want to slaughter the buyer of the Calls.

1. Further to participate in other excellent company as share holder, to improve its capital utilization.
2. New value-added business develops better than expected.

Down risk
1. Net addition customer market share declines further.
2. TD-SCDMA industry chain increases slower than expected.

Growth turning point hasn`t come yet, maintaining Hold rating

From the current situation, CM's domination in the industry still can not shake except slightly lagging behind in 3G's development. 3G business will still develops very slowly in China before the star application comes, therefore, we need not worry that it will lose its market advantage.

Looking into the future two to three years, 3G business cost rise and overall mobile fee decline are still the main factors curbing its performance growth. Meanwhile, high penetration of handsets in domestic China also limits the growth of customers for the overall telecom industry.

Before new value-added business appears, the company, as the jumbo in this mature industry, is regarded by the market as slow growth company from stable growth one.

Therefore, we continue to maintain China Mobile's Hold rating, until the performance growth turning point appears, with 12-month TP of HK$84.5, suggesting dividend yield of 3.73% in 2010.
