As you know, in the world of technical forecasting, its different strokes for different folks. Personally, the Elliott Wave model resonates with me instinctively, and i tend to use its framework to anticipate market moves in different time-frames. It's not an exact science, but captures mass crowd psychology very effectively in my view, based on wave form and shape.]]>

BEIJING - China said on Monday it is investigating the qualifications of the nation's commercial pilots after revelations that more than 200 of them had falsified their resumes.

The probe comes after 42 people died on Aug 24 when a Brazilian-made regional jet flown by Henan Airlines crashed at a small airport in north-eastern China's Heilongjiang province.

Fifty-four passengers and crew survived the crash, in which the plane missed the runway, sparking speculation that pilot error was to blame.

The investigation was launched by the Civil Aviation Administration of China, the country's aviation regulator, the central government's news website said.

The resumes of more than 200 Chinese commercial pilots were found to have been falsified, the report said, with some of them embellishing their flight histories.

At least half of the pilots in question worked for Shenzhen Airlines, which owns Henan Airlines, the government report said. Investigators were looking into the possibility of pilot error in the Henan Airlines crash, it added.

Authorities have already ordered safety checks of the country's fast-growing civil aviation fleet of 1,300 planes in the wake of the disaster.

Last week, the aviation administration said it was looking for crash clues related to the plane's manufacturer, operator, crew, maintenance record, and with air traffic management and the airport authorities.

Authorities in central Henan province have also ordered the airline to change its name to prevent the crash from tarnishing the province's image. The company had previously been known as Kunpeng Airlines.

You can shift your vibration a whole lot easier when you're dealing with today issues, than trying to deal with childhood issues. It's the same vibration.

1. List your Why-To's of Success and your Why-Not-To's of Success on a piece of paper -- the Why-To's on one side, and the Why-Not-To's on the other.

2. Calculate your degree of "stuckness." When you have all your Why-To-s and Why-Not-To's written down, score each one from 1-10 -- with 1 being "This is no big deal" and 10 being "This is a really big deal." Add up your totals on each side.

3. Share your list with a trusted friend, coach, or mentor. It's critical to do this, because this person sees you more clearly than you can see yourself and will be able to offer objective.

4. Ask yourself if you're willing to pay the price of success. The fact is, every solution brings with it a new set of problems. So while it's true that there is a price to pay when you allow yourself to succeed, only you can decide if going for the success you want is worth it.

I say: Go for it! Because when you give yourself permission to succeed, you become more of Who You Really Are.

PHANG Yu Hon is part of the booming tuition industry in Singapore. Last year alone, he earned more than half a million dollars (after expenses) as a full-time physics tutor.

According to the Department of Statistics, the local tuition industry was reported to be worth $820 million in 2008, up from $470 million in 1998.

In the same period of 10 years, 400 more tuition centres sprang up across Singapore, bringing the total number of tuition centres in Singapore to 500.

So what is causing such a great demand for tuition? Is it mere 'kiasu-ism', or does tuition really improve a student's grades? The lack of transparency in the industry makes it difficult to tell.

Koh Sheng Jie was graded Band 3 for Mathematics in Primary 4. That's just a pass. Post-tuition, his Maths grade improved to an A2 for 'O' Levels.
